Heidi Maribut (MA Fine Art Printmaking, BA Visual Communication) & Amanda Olesen (MA Information Experience Design, BA Industrial Design)
When working together Heidi Maribut and Amanda Olesen become Heidi & Herman. They work across various digital and analogue media to unfold a shared visual landscape that manifests in set design, interactive installations, graphic design and other forms of allurement for aliens. Trust in chaos and the power of unpredictability inspire their artworks. They are currently based in London where they study at The Royal College of Art.
Heidi & Herman have been working their magic creating intriguing and interactive pieces at Trailerpark Festival in 2015 and 2016. In 2015 they were behind the transformed trailer SOMAJICK, which resembled an experimental cave that connected with the audience in the most literal sense by attaching electrodes to the heartbeats of the guests. In 2016 they transformed the Soundvenue Stage into a Big Blue Baboon which became an immersive environment melting the stage together with the festival area.
